The newest title about Las Vegas is by Joseph Lordi, who has gathered an amazing collection of postcards picturing Las Vegas and updates these images with current photos. Kind of a "then and now" photohistory of Las Vegas. There are two volumes, the second one is hot off the press as of December 2012!
And don't forget two titles by Las Vegas author Edwina (Pat) Romero, former NMHU prof and City Museum volunteer: Footlights in the Foothills and Cowboy Reunions of Las Vegas, NM. Both speak to the rich history of this frontier town where amusements as diverse as cowboy rodeos and Victorian opera enthralled the local residents and put LV on the map!
